You may decide for whatever reason that you want to remove an email address from your Outlook profile but are worried about losing the data. Remember, this is not a big issue though, providing all of your Outlook data files are synchronized. So it's a good idea to make sure you've reconnected and synchronized with all the servers prior to removing the email. So basically, what we're saying here is, don't remove an email, if you've been writing emails offline on a plane, it's a bad idea to remove that email at that stage because they haven't been stored in any servers. You'll lose all your work. However, to remove an email address once you've connected, of course, all you need to do is right-click on it and then select the Remove button here, okay? Now this is, the one I'm removing is actually an IMAP account. So I know that all of the emails and data are stored on another server, so it's not a big deal. So I'm just gonna click on Remove. It gives me the warning sign though, okay? So even if you click Remove accidentally, you still get a second chance. It does say, "Careful, if you remove this account, it's offline cached content will be deleted," okay? So if you want to make a backup of the OST file. There's this Help there if you want to do so. However, this is fine. In this case, I'm just going to click on Yes. And there you go, that's how I remove an email address.
