If you're working in a team environment you may want to actually assign or delegate some of these tasks to some of your coworkers. So to do that, open up the task. So I'm gonna open up clearing the gutters here. And what I want to do is select assign task here in the task menu, assign task and I just have to add the person's name. So I'm gonna add this to Lisa. There we go. So I'm gonna keep to the same time zones. Of course, you could change the start and end dates if you wanted to. The new stuff on here though, is things like keep an updated copy of the task list on my task list. That just means that you maintain a view as to whether or not it's being completed, which is useful to know. Also, you can get a status report sent when the task is complete which means when the person you've delegated the task to hits mark complete then you'll get a notification, which is pretty helpful. Okay? So that's all you need to do. Then hit send. Since you are no longer the owner of this task the task remind has been turned off. That's fine, hit okay and that's it. Okay. It's sending the message as an email to that person. They will hit accept task, hopefully. And in that scenario you will see that the task has been completed. Let's open it up now and see what it says. So if we open it up now it says waiting for a response from recipient. Okay. Not started, who the owner is as well. So that's how you assign tasks.
