Send backwards and send forward are two options in PowerPoint that allow you to change the order of overlapping objects on your slide.
You can use these options to move an object behind or in front of another object, or to bring it to the back or front of the entire stack.
To use. Send backward or send forward.
Select the object you want to move, and then right click and go down to bring to front or send to back.
Send forward and send backward will move the object or shape one level forward or backward.
Bring to front or send to back.
We'll move the object to the back or front of all objects on the slide.
Sometimes you'll have a wide range of components on a slide and it can get difficult to keep track of them.
A useful tool to locate or select individual components is the selection pane.
This feature that allows you to view and manage all the objects on your slides, such as shapes, pictures, text boxes, or placeholders.
To access this feature, click on a shape or object.
And in the shape format section, you should see a button in the arranged section titled Selection pane.
When you click this, a new panel will appear on the right side of your screen here.
You can use the selection pane to select, show hide, rename, or reorder any object on your slide, making it easier to organize the components in your slides and also have better visibility of possibly rogue layers that shouldn't be there.
