There are three methods to insert a video.
Inserting a video directly from your device is a good method for sending it to viewers when they want to review the presentation in offline mode.
In other words, having no wifi, however, the file size of the presentation will increase.
The second option is to use the stock videos button, which will take you to a library of videos provided by Microsoft.
Using one of these videos does not require any referencing, however similar to adding a video from your device.
The viewer can review this in offline mode, but the file size of the presentation will increase.
Inserting a link from online videos means the overall file size of the presentation won't be impacted and is a more efficient method and can improve the performance and loading speed of your presentation.
However, the viewer won't be able to review this video in offline mode.
Inserting a video with this method may require referencing the source.
After choosing any of these methods, the video will be inserted on your slide where you can resize, crop, or trim it as you wish.
You can also adjust the playback options such as when to start and stop the video, whether to loop or rewind it, and whether to show or hide the controls.
To access these options, go to the playback tab under video tools.
