If I asked you to, to estimate, how many cans of Coke, Coca-Cola sell in any given, August of any year, worldwide, how would you go about estimating that and, try and come up with a number? it's a really sort of odd question, but basically, how many cans of Coke do you think this, Coca-Cola, sell in an average August, worldwide? Well, I think that given that, you know, Coca-Cola is a global company, that they sell beverages all over the world and not just, Coca-Cola beverages, but they have subsidiaries of their own. Right. Would you want me to count Coca-Cola subsidiaries or just the Coke? just go with Coke. Just go with Coke.
Yeah. well, I guess amongst my, you know, people that I know, Coke is still a very popular drink.
I think that it appears in a lot of situations.
and so I would say that it probably is, you know, consumed maybe like at least once a week on average, by a person, right.
Let, let's just say spread it out. And I think another big factor is that it's in August, which means in the northern hemisphere it is the summer, so it'd be a little bit hotter. Coke is usually served cold.
so maybe let's say like 1.25 times the normal rate once, a week lives about like four weeks in a month.
So it's like five, Cokes per person. Yeah.
And so times the, you know, world population just like averaging it out.
Yeah. maybe 39 billion, cans of Coke.
Wow. Yeah. Yes.
Yep. Okay. That, that's a, that's a pretty good pre pretty good estimate for a fairly quick, and I like the way that you sort of laid that out as well. You sort of, you know, went through your logical thinking, and you absolutely. Well, the answer is, I actually don't know.
and Coke have never actually published that, but what they have published, which I think is interesting is that, is that their worldwide sales, of Coke, every day is about 1.7, billion drinks, which is a fair number.
So, I got to around sort of just over 50 billion, but, you know, you're absolutely on the right track.
and, and I like the way also you used a little bit of your own experience, you know, sort of what do I see amongst my friends, you know, which is absolutely, relevant.
and you're the only person that's mentioned this sort of difference between the northern and southern hemisphere as well, which is, which is yeah, getting that sort of seasonality in there. So well done.
