So not all banks are the same. And it's possible to talk generically about the different divisions and departments and functions within a bank. If you wanna get a true sense of how a bank is broken up into different sections, then it would be reasonable to go and have a look at their annual report or even their interim report. So if it's an American bank, you can jump onto the SEC EDGAR database and pull their 10 K or you can pull their annual report from various other sources for banks operating in other parts of the world. And here's an example for JPMorgan Chase. So you can see they broke their business into the consumer business and the wholesale business. And if we look within the wholesale business, you can see a subdivision there, corporate and investment banking. And if you drill down into that, you can see there's banking, which seems to include investment banking and markets and investor services which seems to include security services, equity markets, fixed income markets. So these are specific terms to JP Morgan. But if you looked at their competitors, then you'd see some similar classifications for different parts of their business.
