Align Columns Rows Size Table LayoutTranscript
When you select a table, 2 new tabs will appear in the ribbon.
The table toolbar has 2 tabs designed a layout.
In this video we're going to focus on table layout.
The layout tab has more options to change the structure of data in your table, such as rows and columns.
You can add or delete rows and columns by using the insert above, insert below, insert left, insert right, delete row, and delete column buttons.
You can also select multiple rows or columns by holding the control key and clicking on them to apply changes to the highlighted areas.
If you want to insert or delete more than one row or column merge, you can combine 2 or more adjacent cells into 1. By using the merge cells button.
You can also split a merge cell into its original cells by using the split cells button. Cell size.
You can adjust the height and width of your table cells by entering the exact measurements or dragging the cell edges.
You can also distribute the rows and columns to evenly space the cells by using the distribute rows and distribute columns.

You can align the text or values within your table cells by choosing the left center or right alignment options.
You can also align the text in the table to be closer to the top, center or bottom of each cell In terms of vertical positioning, Text direction, you can change the orientation of the text in your table cells using a few options.
The default option is horizontal, and then you can also select the option to rotate the text 90 or 270 degrees.
And then finally, you can also stack the text vertically.
By using the stacked option. Margins, you can change the amount of space between the text and the cell edges by increasing or decreasing the cell margins.
