Blockchain and cryptocurrencies, crypto exchanges. Crypto exchanges supports the trading of cryptocurrencies similar to traditional exchanges, crypto exchanges may play the role of market makers and benefit from a bid ask spread or charge a fee as a matching platform. Binance and Coinbase are examples of exchanges that exclusively deal with cryptocurrencies, a ranking taking into account the transparency and volume of crypto exchanges has the top five crypto exchanges as Binance buy bit FTX, Coinbase Pro and Fex. Binance from Binary Finance was founded in China. It has an exchange license that supports trading of nine fiat pairs. That's between fiat currencies and cryptocurrencies. And 1,568 trading pairs being the largest crypto exchange Binance commands 25% of trading volumes and 68% of trades. Furthermore, the exchange at one point in time has the capacity to process 1.4 million orders per second, making it one of the fastest exchanges on the market. In Binance, the Euro is the most dominating fiat currency for quotes, and the USDT tether is the most dominating crypto quote. The second largest exchange by volume is actually Hui Hui was actually listed in 2018 in Hong Kong three years earlier than Coinbase. Hobi has quotes in one fiat currency, the US dollar and 1035 total currency pairs. The most popular pairs are Bitcoin to US dollar, ether, to US dollar, and Bitcoin to tether by bit is ranked number two. In transparency, it is one of the fastest growing cryptocurrency derivatives exchange with derivatives being its only offering. Coinbase is probably the most famous of all the crypto exchanges, especially with its posting of its shares straight onto the NASDAQ Stock Exchange via a direct listing. It is also one of the few crypto exchanges That is fully regulated and licensed in the us. Its cash from customers is also FDIC insured to boost customer confidence. The cryptocurrencies owned by customers are stored in insured custodial wallets with protection against data breaches and hacking. Coinbase supports three fiat currencies, the US dollar, the Euro, and the British pound and offers 205 pairs.

What is CPE?

CPE stands for Continuing Professional Education, by completing learning activities you earn CPE credits to retain your professional credentials. CPE is required for Certified Public Accountants (CPAs). What are CPE credits?

For self study programs, 1 CPE credit is awarded for every 50 minutes of elearning content, this includes videos, workouts, tryouts, and exams.

What if I'm not collecting CPE credits?

CPE exams do not count towards your FE certification. You do not need to complete the CPE exam if you are not collecting CPE credits, but you might find it useful for your own revision.
