The Solver Tool is quite a complicated tool. What it does, it actually allows us to change multiple inputs in order to generate a desired output. So it's a bit more advanced, quite a lot more advanced than Goal Seek, actually. The shortcut to access the tool is ALT-A-Y-2 However, you may need to install the add-in first. If you have installed the add-in, the chalk will bring up the Solver Parameters box. And then you get to set the objective cell, which is the cell whose value you want to change. Okay, so you can set it to a value, or a maximum or a minimum, for instance. And then you get to tell it which cells you want the Solver Tool to change. So as I've just said, it can actually change multiple cells. You can also put some rules in place that you want the tool to abide by. So let's take a look at some examples.
