In the Excel file for the case study, we have a series of workbook tabs. And there is a worksheet for each of the quantitative questions on the case study. And the final worksheet tab called workings has the nine questions laid out. The first four being the qualitative questions and then questions five through nine are the questions that you will need the previous tabs in the workbook to answer. So for each of those questions, there's a different tab. So for example, the debt capacity tab is for question five. And here we have an abridged model for Verso that has their forecast numbers for the income statement and balance sheet along with a free cashflow calculation. And from this you will be asked to create a debt capacity analysis based on those numbers. The next tab is for question six, and this will be based on a comparables analysis for a valuation for the fire sale. For question seven is the liquidation value and we have the book value of the assets on the left and the recovery rates on the right. So we'll be calculating the liquidation values in this exercise and then netting the liabilities to come up with the liquidation proceeds. Question eight is the debt restructuring. And here we're given the information about the capital structure and qualitative information about the different tranches of debt. And based on the instructions, you'll be able to figure out how this debt can be restructured. Question nine, for the liquidation analysis here we will look at what would happen to the various tranches of debt if there were proceeds to be used to pay back the debt holders. Who would get paid back, who would not, and how much of the existing loans would be recovered. And those answers will all be filled in on the workings tab. All of these answers, both the qualitative and the quantitative will be debriefed in the presentation that follows this and we will discuss how we got the numbers and what they mean and also what happened in real life with Verso as a result of this process.
