So as a global custodian, my selection process for sub custodians needs to be very tight as we've already gone through within safekeeping, it is gonna be the sub custodian that is my link as the global custodian into the local CSD market. So a part of my selection process for sub custodian, I need to look at various different aspects. I'll look at the credit risk according to my own internal credit risk system. Now here in the UK, my credit risk system will have been approved by the FCA. I will also look at the operational risk that is the operational risk between me as global custodian and the sub custodian. And I also want to look at the operational procedures within the sub custodian and get those signed off by my risk team. Before I even start this, I looked at the country risk. If I as the global custodian do not like the country risk, then I'm not gonna ask for a sub custodian in that country. Once I've got past country risk, I will also want to look at the market infrastructure within that country and make sure it is to the standards that I am happy to offer and support to my clients. I really don't want to be entering into a market where I hear that trades are basically done around a table with handshake. I want everything to have finality. I do not want any recourse once a trade has been done. And of course there will be a legal agreement between me as the global custodian and my sub custodian. And so that involves legal risk. And I will want to make sure that my legal team has looked at this carefully and made sure that I have their sign off to go ahead and select custodian bank A as my sub custodian in Country X.
