Truly effective delegation is the sweet spot where the delegated activity is also a work experience the team member is excited by where the team member sees that it's not simply more work, but an opportunity to be challenged, to have more variety in their role, to increase their visibility and increase the impact they make on the business, but only if the delegated activity is challenging, different, complex, and of particular importance to the organization.
