Using formulas by linking to cells rather than typing in hardcoded numbers.

When a model or budget has its assumptions already built, we can now move on to the calculations or formulas. Let's start with the course leader cost. The course leader costs 5,000 per day, and we multiply that by the number of days. What I don't want to do, definitely don't want to do if I press escape, is type in 5,000 multiplied or asterisk by 20. We never hide away the hard coded numbers within a formula, so I press equals and I can either use my mouse to go up to the 5,000 multiply, or I could use my arrows. This case, I want to multiply it by the 20 days, and I press enter. For course two, I can do the same thing. I can use my mouse to go up to the 5,000, multiply by the five days.
For the teaching assistant, again, I could press equals, I could now use my arrows to go up to the 2,500, multiply by, and I could use my arrows again, and for course two, I could do the same thing again.
Great.
