How to use the annotations feature in Felix using the video as an example, navigate to the company's latest 10 K filing. Let's imagine we want to find the company's operating lease liabilities as of their latest financial year end. First click on sections within the toolbar type leases and then click on the relevant section. Now that we have found the number we need, we can double click on this and press save. This creates an annotation where you can copy the link to the annotation within the company filing on Felix. You can rename this annotation by heading to the annotation section of the toolbar. Click on the edit symbol and rename your annotation as you see fit here, you can keep track of all the annotations which you have made within this company filing. If I were to paste this in Excel, the number would be pasted as a value with an embedded link to the relevant section within the company filing on Felix. By clicking on this number, you are taken back to the exact location of the figure within the company filing on Felix. There are various sharing options available for annotations on Felix within my annotations. The private option enables users to view that one annotation within this company filing on Felix. The review only setting enables users with the link to view any annotations you have made within this company filing. You can share annotations in the review mode, even with people without a Felix license. Finally, the edit setting allows any users with the link to make their own annotations within the filing.
